Welcome to the Professional Edge Coaching (Pty) Ltd website. By accessing or using this website, registering for a course, or purchasing any of our products or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. About Us
Professional Edge Coaching (Pty) Ltd provides professional training, coaching, facilitation, workshops, and educational services.
Our mission is to equip individuals and organisations with practical skills that enhance workplace performance and career development.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website, you confirm that you:
- are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian;
- agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions;
- understand that these terms govern all purchases made through this website.
3. Course Registration
Registration is confirmed only once:
- payment has been successfully received (unless otherwise agreed in writing);
- you receive an official booking confirmation from Professional Edge Coaching.
Professional Edge Coaching reserves the right to refuse or cancel any registration where necessary.
4. Pricing
All prices displayed on this website are in South African Rand (ZAR).
Prices may change without prior notice.
The price charged will be the price displayed at the time the booking is completed.
5. Payment
We accept secure online payments through approved payment gateways.
Payment must be made before attendance unless alternative arrangements have been agreed to in writing.
6. Course Changes
Professional Edge Coaching reserves the right to:
- change course dates;
- change venues;
- change facilitators;
- reschedule training where necessary;
- cancel a course due to low enrolment or circumstances beyond our control.
Where a course is cancelled by us, delegates will be offered:
- an alternative date; or
- a full refund.
7. Cancellation by Delegates
Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
The following cancellation policy applies:
- More than 7 days before training:
- Full refund or transfer to another course.
- Between 3 and 7 days:
- 50% cancellation fee.
- Less than 72 hours before training:
- No refund.
Substitutions of delegates are permitted at no additional cost, provided notification is received before the course begins.
8. Attendance
Delegates are expected to arrive on time.
Professional Edge Coaching reserves the right to refuse admission to late arrivals where doing so would disrupt the learning experience.
9. Certificates
Certificates of attendance or competence will only be issued where:
- the delegate attended the required sessions;
- all required assessments have been completed (where applicable);
- course fees have been paid in full.
10. Intellectual Property
All training materials, presentations, manuals, videos, assessments, downloads, graphics and website content remain the intellectual property of Professional Edge Coaching (Pty) Ltd.
No material may be:
- copied;
- reproduced;
- distributed;
- uploaded;
- sold;
- shared publicly;
without prior written permission.
11. Online Courses
Where online courses are offered:
Access is granted solely to the registered participant.
Sharing login credentials is prohibited.
Professional Edge Coaching may suspend access where misuse is detected.
12. User Accounts
Where users create accounts, they are responsible for:
- maintaining password confidentiality;
- ensuring account information is accurate;
- all activities conducted under their account.
13. Privacy
Professional Edge Coaching respects your privacy.
Personal information is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Information collected is used only for purposes including:
- course administration;
- communication;
- certification;
- invoicing;
- customer support.
We do not sell personal information.
14. Marketing Communication
By registering for a course, you agree that Professional Edge Coaching may communicate with you regarding:
- course reminders;
- certificates;
- future training opportunities;
- newsletters.
You may unsubscribe at any time.
15. Website Availability
While we strive to keep our website available at all times, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
We reserve the right to perform maintenance or updates without notice.
16. Disclaimer
While every effort is made to provide accurate information, Professional Edge Coaching does not warrant that all website content is free from errors or omissions.
Training is provided for educational purposes and should not be regarded as legal, financial or professional advice.
17. Limitation of Liability
Professional Edge Coaching shall not be liable for:
- indirect losses;
- consequential damages;
- loss of income;
- business interruption;
- technical issues beyond our reasonable control.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant course.
18. Force Majeure
Professional Edge Coaching shall not be held responsible for delays or cancellations resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including:
- natural disasters;
- power failures;
- internet outages;
- pandemics;
- strikes;
- government restrictions.
19. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Professional Edge Coaching reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

21. Accreditation
Professional Edge Coaching (Pty) Ltd is not accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) unless expressly stated for a specific course or programme.
Unless otherwise indicated, our courses are offered as professional development and skills enhancement programmes and are not QCTO qualifications or accredited occupational programmes.
Where a course carries accreditation, endorsement, or recognition by another professional body or organisation, this will be clearly stated in the course description.
